Andre Clark

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Andre has over twenty years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy. Andre began his career working in a resiliency program focused on active-duty military members and government contractors diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Andre also provided care for military members and their families suffering with anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. It was this experience, counseling military members and their families, that led to his passion for helping our heroes. It was the passion to help his troops that led to his discovery of the healing power of the human connection. As a graduate school, he received his formal training in a residential treatment program for adults suffering from chemical dependency, providing therapy to clients with co-occurring PTSD, substance-induced psychosis, mood, and personality disorders.

Following the first Shelter-in-Place order, Andre provided psychotherapy to clients diagnosed with substance and alcohol abuse, caregivers, victims of domestic violence, and others impacted most by COVID-19. Andre has a highly collaborative, sincere, and professional demeanor. He offers solution-focused interventions that clients can begin to implement immediately. Andre’s focus is to ensure clients understand and overcome their perceived limitations while achieving personal growth. Andre’s preferred intervention model is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He is also a proponent of incorporating mindfulness, nutrition, and physical fitness programs to promote a whole person concept in treatment planning.

Andre graduated from the University of Phoenix earning a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University. A after graduation, in response to the terrorist attacks of 9-11, he accepted a commission at the rank of Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Andre served as a Commander during operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Andre separated from the Air Force under Honorable conditions and currently works for the Department of Homeland Security.
