Alaysia Anderson

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist - AMFT

Hi, I’m Alaysia Anderson, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Social Worker (ASW) with two Master’s degrees—one in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and another in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I am also a proud member of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology.

My clinical experience spans working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in supporting clients dealing with childhood trauma, substance use, PTSD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, insecure attachment styles, and relationship challenges.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in building authentic rapport, client empowerment, and psychoeducation. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Practices. I also integrate Internal Resourcing and body-based awareness to help clients understand how trauma is held in the body and to cultivate a sense of internal safety.

I am passionate about helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and insight into maladaptive coping strategies. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore the origins of maladaptive beliefs and behaviors—and work toward lasting

personal growth. I am here to join you on your journey of healing and self discovery.
