Michelle Bee

Hi, I'm Michelle Bee. I am a multi-ethnic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Biblio/Poetry Therapist, Holistic Wellness Coach, and Women’s Mental Health Specialist based in California. I received her Masters from Chapman University and have been practicing for more than 15 years. 

I am passionate about creating healing spaces for BIPOC women addressing the impact of oppressive forces, racial stress and identity trauma through liberation-oriented practices.

My personal and professional mission is to restore wellbeing through mindful awareness, health advocacy, somatic embodiment and liberation-oriented practices. 

I have worked for a large HMO, non-profit organizations, private agencies, impatient facilities and private practice settings. Some of my work has been in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health Services, Department of Justice, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services, Chestnut Health Systems – Adolescent Research, Work Stress Clinic, Deconstructing Mental Health Services, and Advance LA.
