Rosalie Lotspeich
Hi, I'm Rosalie Lotspeich, as a compassionate and empathetic therapist, I am committed to providing both warmth and structure in my sessions to help clients feel supported and empowered in their journey toward healing. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. By balancing empathy with a clear, goal-oriented structure, I tailor my interventions to meet the individual needs of each client, promoting a sense of agency and progress as they work toward their personal goals.
In my work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I have had the privilege of using evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) with clients across various age groups, including teens, adults, and older adults. DBT allows me to guide clients in managing overwhelming emotions, developing healthier coping strategies, and building interpersonal effectiveness, while MBT helps individuals gain insight into their emotions and the perspectives of others. This dual approach is especially effective in supporting clients in navigating complex relational and emotional dynamics, promoting long-term growth and stability.
I specialize in helping clients manage and overcome suicide ideation, avoidant behaviors, trauma responses, and impulsive behaviors. With a deep understanding of the complexities of these issues, I work with clients to create personalized strategies that address the root causes of distress. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and find hope, even in the most difficult circumstances. Whether addressing past trauma or working through current struggles, I am dedicated to supporting my clients as they gain the skills and insight needed to live more balanced, fulfilling lives.
