Hi, I’m Kennedy Roks, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I earned my bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University where I studied Psychology and minored in Human Sexuality and Special Education. I earned my master’s degree from University of San Francisco in Counseling.
My approach to counseling is person-centered with hints of art therapy that allows individuals to express themselves beyond words. I have experience working with individuals as young as 2 years old up to the age of 73. I’ve supported clients in various setting who dealt with struggles like depression, anxiety, live transitions, stress, gender identity and sexuality. I use approaches that will tailor to my clients wants and needs as I believe therapy looks different for everyone.
I am committed to using my skills to help empower my clients to become who they want to be. Together we can go through the journey of healing, growth and endless possibilities.
